Digital Citizenship
Students will learn the fundamentals of digital citizenship using animated, interactive experiences. Students explore on-line digital dilemmas and make choices. Some choices are good and some not-so good. Students play a game by choosing their own on-line adventure as one of eight characters. Story paths vary based on various decision points chosen by the student thus making multiple play interesting. Students will complete a mini-game assessing their skills learned in each session. We will end this unit with a some reflective, creative exercises to elaborate on issues highlighted in one of the eight stories.

Activity 3: Self Image & Identity - Hutch is determined to master all things sports related, but he has yet learned to manage his own on-line self image. Caught up in the glory of it all, Hutch comes face to face with the truth - both on-line and off-line. How can you encourage Hutch to give 110% on and off the field?
Activity 4: Creative Credit & Copyright - For this year’s hack-a-thon, Seven is determined to make his mark with a winning invention. But how can he truly own his creative process when he finds “inspiration,” as well as distractions, at every turn? Can you help him keep his eye on the prize?

Start with a positive, a neutral and a negative ending and work backwards to map out a story tree using PowerPoint. b) Then, pick a character and use them to craft an engaging narrative using the second person point of view ("you"). We will be using PowerPoint to create your adventure.
