Welcome!
7th / 8th grade computers is a 18 week class that meets five times a week. In this class, you will master the basic terminology and concepts of computer systems both hardware and software. You will learn how the system works from input-processing-output. This class is designed to enhance your use of MS office programs for projects assigned by your core teachers. We will also be working in a unit of video game programming. Check out what you will be learning below!

Grading / Make Up Work
-- Each Unit with have computer assignments and end of unit quizzes.
-- Students will be given an end of quarter and end of semester exams.
-- ALL assignments will be completed in class. If a student is absent or unable to complete the assignment in class, they may make arrangements to work on the assignment either after school or during lunch on Monday or Wednesday.
-- All work assigned must be completed by the end of the quarter.
-- Grades will be posted on due dates. Incomplete assignments will receive a 0. Completed assignments will receive a grade when they are turned in.
-- Students will use Edmodo to both see the assignment and to turn in the assignment. Assignment details can be found on this website.
-- Parents can see assignments and grades in RenWeb. To see details regarding the assignment, please refer to the class website.
